task2
participate in club activities which is very encouraged because it can make a student stan
d out from other applicants in universities and get an acceptance. Once students reach the
university level, they find themselves in the same position, with many subjects and class
es offered but also many clubs and organizations to be a part of. Many university students
decide to be a part of it thinking that it can be beneficial for them while others only s
tick to their academic studies. But is participating in student organizations or club acti
vities as beneficial as taking academic classes for university students? In my opinion, I
believe that the students get as much benefit from both and that is for the following reas
ons.In one hand, students who participate in organizations or club activities will get a l
ot of knowledge that other students focused only on academic classed can't get. It will he
lp you socialize and discuss with people from different regions on some important topics.
Usually organizations and clubs have a certain purpose, so it can help the student underst
and a cause better and know how to lead a conversation since they would have more informat
ion about many things as well as shape their way of thinking. It can also teach them how t
o be patient and hardworking which will affect the academic studies as well by giving more
effort into them. On the other hand, participating in organizations and club activities c
an make a students university life more interesting and enjoyable. It is known that many s
tudents may feel left out or feel depressed especially if they have to leave their home an
d friends and go to a completely different city or country to study so this can help them
make some friends and indulge into the real university life without feeling negative emoti
ons that will affect their academic study and their performance. Also, it can help them ma
ke study friends with whom they can sit down and prepare for the exams which can be motiva
tional. Finally, the students who participate in student organizations or club activities w
ill definitely have a richer CV than the other students who only focus on academic studies
. Once they apply to a job, for example, they will have a better chance of getting that jo
b instead of someone who never participated in these activities. I have a cousin who unfor
tunately struggled to get a job, even though he had high grades and a good academic perfor
mance only because he wasn't into activities and the employers always thought that he coul
dn't be good at working as a team or leading a group, which shows how these activities can
be as beneficial as academic studies and make a person stand out.In conclusion, I believe
that university students can benefit from participating in organization and club activiti
es as much as academic studies because it can motivate the students to study better and so
cialize while making the best of their university life but also give them a better chance
at finding a job in the future.
