surest indicator of a great nation. However, we can not say one country is great if it do
not achieve the general welfare of its people even if their rulers, artists or scientists
have great achievements. In addition, if one country’s people all feel happy to live
there, it will probably have many achievements from its rulers, artists or scientists,
which means the general welfare in a certain degree will promote the emergence of
great people.
Firstly we can find, it is true that we could not believe one nation is great if people
living there are unhappy. However, if there is one country whose people there all
live happily, although there are not many great people who make great achievements
for the world, we still can say this country is great. For example, like Singapore,
almost people may not acknowledge there are many great people in political, art
